LBA Volunteers Needed

The Lakeville Baseball Association is seeking volunteers for the following roles: 

 

Board Director Role: Fundraising Coordinator (2 year term, expires in 2017)

Responsibilities include:

-Attend monthly Board Meetings

-Develop the LBA annual fundraising strategy including financial targets and event identification

-Lead fundraising subcommittees (see below)

-Coordinate spirit wear program (beginning of season, holidays)

-Manage the Travel Team Sponsorship Program

-Manage the Lighting Project fundraising

-Coordinate Opening Day

-Occasional involvement in committee work to help shape the long term vision of LBA

The commitment of this role will be light at times when there is no fundraising drives (app 2 hours a month) and heavier during fundraising drives as well as at the beginning of the season (app 15 hours a month).

 

Fundraising Sub-Committee Members (commitment may be long term OR per project)\

Responsibilities will vary on the project but may include:

-event planning

-program advisement

-various administrative duties

-fundraising communications

-development of local community business connections

-Occasional involvement in committee work to help shape the long term vision of LBA

The commitment of this role will vary based on your desired level of help and role.

To All Lakeville Baseball Parents and Out-of-Town Guests,

 

Please note than an important road construction project has begun at the intersection of County Roads 50 and 60 (Kenwood Trail and 185th St) in Lakeville. This area is closed to traffic and work is expected to last through the entire baseball season.

 

You should be prepared to use alternate routes and experience potential traffic delays when attending games this summer. Please allow for extra travel time.

Lakeville South Baseball Camp (grades 3-8)

Attn Parents of Lakeville South Parents 

The Lakeville South baseball program will be holding its Fifth Annual Lakeville South Summer Baseball Camp June 15-19th.  

Players will be taught the fundamentals of hitting, base running, and throwing techniques for outfield & infield. This is an opportunity for Coach Iversen and future players of the Lakeville South Baseball Team to get to know each other in a noncompetitive, learning environment. Parents may stay to watch or leave their player for their session.
